I designed and made this box on my GCSE Design Technology course. I used CAD to create a pattern on the lid and then laser cut it into the wood. Using joinery to make the body of the box, I layered pine and glued it, creating an internal compartment using oak, which contrasted with the lighter colours in the rest of the construction.
