I have a passion for wild camping as reflected in many of the products I’ve made and I enjoy making things to improve my experiences wild camping. I have created this stove design and made a rough prototype as a proof of concept, as when looking I struggled to find one that suited my needs precisely. I wanted one that was portable and burned wood as opposed to gas or other fuels, reducing the amount I have to carry; I also needed it to be small enough to pack in a very small space, without having to assemble multiple small parts that can be lost or broken easily. The design had to be simple whilst looking aesthetically pleasing and timeless.

The prototype worked very well and showed me what parts of the design worked and what needed improving, I then took this initial design and drew up plans for an improved model.
