Over the past year I’ve created a number of zine inspired photo books using a variety of techniques and distributed a number of them to friends and family. They were created by carefully cropping and glueing photos back-to-back with tabs connecting them in series. I experimented with both concertina and booklet style designs and sequenced them using similar colour palettes and subjects next to each other. I have experimented with different sequencing types; concertina style booklets and a more traditional book style. I have come to prefer the concertina style for its more interactive way of viewing and unique style, it was an interesting process seeing how these changes affect the final product.
